• Annie Armstrong ~ Together, we can pray for our North American missionaries,
give sacrificially to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and do our part to share God’s powerful message of forgiveness and the offer of eternal life. Our 2010 church goal is $3,500.

• C.R.I.B.S. ~ The youth Christians Relating in Bible Study meetings will be held from 6:30-8:00 P.M. Wednesdays in March: the 10th, 24th and 31st. Be here at 6:20 P.M. to ride the church van. The Wednesday during Spring Break will be game night instead of CRIBS.

• Bass Club ~ We are excited about the upcoming fishing season and the ministry opportunities God will provide as we enjoy His magnificent creation. The first event will be Saturday, March 13, on Logan Martin launching out of Riverside Marina. Contact either Barry Burns or Greg Brown if you have questions.

• Time Change ~ Daylight Saving Time Begins Sunday, March 14. Do not forget to set your clocks up (spring forward) next Saturday night, March 13.

• Baby Tea ~ You are invited to join us Sunday, March 14 in the Fellowship Hall from 2 - 4 P.M. for a Baby Tea in honor of Kristen Stell Boley.

• Commissioning Service ~ During the evening service on Sunday, March 14, our fifteen EBC missionaries going to Guatemala will be commissioned. The missionaries should plan to remain after the service for one final meeting with Bro. John.

• Senior Adult Outing ~ Join us Tuesday, March 16 for lunch at All Steak Restaurant and a visit to Mother Angelica’s Shrine in Hanceville. We will travel by church vans leaving EBC at 10:00 A.M. For questions about our Senior Adult Ministry, please call Terry Lewis or Joe Kinney.

• Guatemala Mission Trip ~ We’d love to have you be a part of our international missions program as we reach the world, one life at a time. Fifteen missionaries from EBC will be in Guatemala March 20-27. Whether at home or in Guatemala, there's a way for you to get involved by prayerfully and financially supporting this ministry. Please write “Guatemala” on the outside of your offering envelope.

• Easter Community Blitz ~ On Monday night, March 29, we will go door-to-door passing out flyers and inviting people to our Easter activities and services. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Meet in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30 P.M.

• Spring Fling ~ Mark your calendars for our annual Spring Fling Saturday, April 3 from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. Churchwide support is needed to make this community outreach event a success.

• Parking ~ Due to the narrow street (Counts Road) on the east side of our worship center, parking here creates a safety hazard. Please park in designated parking areas only. Additional parking is available behind the Fellowship Hall.

As the old year passes away, let all that was good in it remain with us and all that was harmful be left behind. A new year is placed in our hands and the days and weeks to come are God's gift. Bless us, O Lord, and bless the time and seasons yet to come. Teach us to fill this new year with your kindness, that we may be glad and rejoice all the days of our life. Amen

The Celebration Choir is the service choir for all Sunday morning worship services and is made up of adults of all ages. Our rehearsal times look and sound more like a family reunion. That's what we are. . . family. We understand the importance of fellowship and we take seriously our role as worship leaders. The purpose of the Celebration Choir is to glorify God in music and magnify the message of salvation in song. We serve as a true companion to the ministry of the preached Word.

Greeting from our Pastor - Greeting from Pastor

Thank you for being a part of the worship and ministry experience of Enon Baptist Church. Enon is an established church with a fresh vision from God. God has chosen to adorn this place with His presence and power.

Our church has several dynamic attributes that make Enon a desirable place to bring your family and friends. First—her people. Our church consists of some of the friendliest people you would ever meet. The church body has an intense love for the Lord and represents every age group. Second—her programs. Enon is small enough to know you personally, yet large enough to have programs including ministry, worship, discipleship, evangelism and fellowship. Enon’s next great asset —– the staff. Enon is composed of an army of volunteer and paid staff who conscientiously seek and do God’s will.

Please allow me to share with you some information about my ministry. I have been a full-time pastor for almost 40 years and have pastored seven churches in Alabama. For more than two years, I preached as an evangelist, missions and interim pastor. I serve as an adjunct professor with Luther Rice Seminary teaching in their international ministry. I have taught on the seminary level in France and Bible Institute level in Uganda and Jamaica. I have an earned Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary and Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Carolina Bible Institute. I have served in a number of areas with our Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions and local Baptist Associations

Perhaps your visit with us is because you are seeking a church family to worship and serve with. This is a major decision. If there is any way I can be of assistance or answer any question you may have, please call me. I want to help you discover life’s greatest adventure. Our phone number at Enon is 647-9614.

In Christ,
John M. Hambright, D. Min.

Enon Baptist Church loves children. Young children form many of their values and set patterns that last a lifetime at this tender age. We want to partner with families to help children grow spiritually.
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Ministry, worship, discipleship, evangelism and fellowship...
These foundational ideas are vitally important in the life of our church and especially in our Spiritual Growth Ministries.

It is our goal that everyone will find a “Home” - a Bible study group, appropriate for age, experience and interest, which will assist you in growing stronger in your faith.

Your Bible study group will provide you with opportunities to discover how exciting and fulfilling life can be in developing your home life, old and new friendships, fellowships and ministry, as we grow closer and stronger in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our Spiritual Growth classes are an opportunity for small group bible study each Sunday morning at 9:15. Each class is tailored to a specific age range to help students to get plugged into a group where the can feel comfortable as they work together to grow in personal discipleship and outreach. Spiritual Growth classes are also a great opportunity for visitors to our church to get plugging in to a small group with an atmosphere of fellowship and group discussion. High School students meet in "The Pit" and the middle school meet in "The Attic".

Wednesday nights at 6:30 students and parents are invited to a time of worship and bible study in our old sanctuary. It is our hope that this time will be an outpouring of our personal worship/quiet times from throughout the week as we come together as one to meet with God. We have a live music and inspirational teaching from God's word. It is an exciting and interactive experience that we hope you can attend.

Thank you for being a part of the worship and ministry experience of Enon Baptist Church. Enon is an established church with a fresh vision from God. God has chosen to adorn this place with His presence and power.

Our church has several dynamic attributes that make Enon a desirable place to bring your family and friends. First -- her people. Our church consists of some of the friendliest people you would ever meet. The church body has an intense love for the Lord and represents every age group. Second -- her programs. Enon is small enough to know you personally, yet large enough to have programs including ministry, worship, discipleship, evangelism and fellowship. Enon's next great asset -- the staff. Enon is composed of an army of volunteer staff and several paid staff who conscientiously seek and do God's will.

We know the Lord has a purpose for bringing you to our web page. We believe the Lord has put us here to let you know about the dynamic difference Christ makes in one’s life, and we encourage you to have an open heart toward Him. True worship is our spiritual priority, and loving people is our spiritual privilege. We invite you to be a part of discovering life’s greatest adventure.

Radiance - Women's Ministry - Women's Ministry

What is the Radiance Women's Ministry?Hebrews 1:3 ~ "He (Jesus) is the radiance of His glory, the exact expression of His nature, and He sustains all things by His powerful word. After making purification for Sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high." Just as Jesus is expressed radiance of God, His Father, we desire as a women's ministry to be the expressed radiance of Jesus. We desire women and their families to discover Jesus and His love through the Radiance ministry. Our goal is that the Radiance ministry would become so bright as to touch the women of Enon Baptist Church and their families, plus women and their families in our communities and beyond with Jesus' love, acceptance and help. There are seven areas of Women's ministry. You can connect with one or more areas of ministry and serve along side women who desire to shine like Jesus. Please feel free to contact Wendy Wood, Radiance Team Leader or Tiffany Gospodareck, Asst. Radiance Team Leader about connecting to this wonderful ministry of Enon Baptist Church. For more information, contact Radiance Leader, Wendy Wood, at 647-3301

Our Beliefs - Who We Are

Our church is a community of believers with Jesus Christ as its head. We seek to love, respect and care for one another as a demonstration of our love for God.

Our outreach is to those who have no church home. Many in our area are disillusioned with religion. They have felt the sting of legalism with its impossible demands. Some have seen hypocrisy. Others have had no religious background and therefore see Christianity as irrelevant. The missing element has been healthy relationships with mature believers in Jesus.
