Discover at Enon Baptist Church

•    Special Wednesday Service  ~  During our Wednesday Bible Study hour on August 25 we will show the James Dobson film “A Man Called Norman.”  This is the unforgettable story of a friendship between two men who triumph over their fears and of the unexpected rewards awaiting those who reach out to others.  It is a humorous, yet heartwarming, film for the whole church family about love and acceptance.  All youth and adults should meet in the Worship Center at 6:30 P.M.

•    En Fuego  ~  On Saturday, August 28, our youth will attend En Fuego, a Christian Music Festival in Verbena, AL.  They will depart from Enon at 10:00 A.M. returning at 10:30 P.M.  Admission is free though there will be a love offering.  Students need to bring money for lunch and dinner.  Space is limited, so confirm with Doug A.S.A.P.

•    Attention All Ladies  ~  Don’t just sit, soak and sour!  Join us Sunday, August 29, immediately following the morning worship service for a “Sip and See” hosted by the Women’s Ministry.  Stop by to sip punch, eat lunch, visit with other ladies, and see what’s going on in Women’s Ministry.  This is a free event and a great way to learn how to get plugged into the Women’s Ministry at Enon.  There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome     Center.  If you have questions, ask any of the following team members: Mary Ann Allen, Kelly Arant, Linda Creel, Charlotte Denton or Connie Ray.

•    Jubilee Day  ~  Join the EBC family as we celebrate our Worship Center’s Sixth Anniversary on Sunday, August 29.  During our evening service The Celebration Choir and soloists will lead us in worshiping the God of the Ages.  We pray that God will continue to bless our church and our area more than we could ever ask or imagine.

•    Key Leaders Conference  ~  The NJBA Key Leaders Conference will be held at Central Baptist Church Monday, August 30, beginning with a meal at 6:30 and ending at 8:30 P.M.

•    Mother’s Day Out  ~  Mother’s Day Out is a weekday ministry for preschool children and parents.  We provide a loving, nurturing outreach for preschool children to experience being with other children one or two days each week.   We serve children ages six weeks to four years.   Our 2010/2011 session has just begun and we may have an opening.   Please contact Steffani Mydland at 590-1187 or Lisa Abston at 590-0513.

•    Privacy Policy  ~  Enon Baptist Church posts photos and videos (without identifying information) of people and groups on our public website.  Anyone objecting to the use of their photo (or photo of their minor child) should so inform the church office.  We will maintain a list of persons who request that their photo not be used.

•    Food Service Workers  ~  A few more volunteers are needed for our Wednesday Night Fellowship Meals.  Volunteers are placed on a rotating schedule so that each person will only work one Wednesday Night per month.  Your support is crucial to the continuance of this ministry.  Please call the church office to offer your services.
